The Queue

The queue panel shows what's playing now and what's coming up next. Add tracks to it from the main library table, and reorder it by dragging tracks up or down. The currently-playing track is highlighted so it's always clear where you are in the queue.

The queue keeps working smoothly even with very large libraries — it only builds what's actually visible on screen rather than the whole list at once, so scrolling stays responsive regardless of queue length.

If you're browsing a paired remote device's library, tracks from that device can sit in the same queue alongside your own local tracks.
